Heidi Murphy says she remains uncomfortable with the “stunt” which took place at acting Premier Ben Carroll’s press conference on Tuesday.

Amid their ongoing pay dispute, police opted to fly a chopper above the media conference in an attempt to disrupt it.

The 3AW host said she wasn’t a fan of what took place, claiming using expensive police resources to make a point was a “step too far”.

“Getting the airwing involved yesterday was a step too far,” she said on 3AW Mornings.

“It was an expensive overreach and a stunt.”
