Indian cricket journalist, Chetan Narula, has weighed in on Australian youngster Sam Konstas’ performance in his first Test series against India, including his run-in with Virat Kohli.

The journalist personally didn’t like the star Indian batsman confronting the 19-year-old during the Boxing Day Test, but said the reception to Konstas’ style of play in India was “wild”.

“It’s amazing to see a 19-year-old take on players who he looks up to, and he holds his own, and I think Sam Konstas is a future star for Australia,” Narula told Bruce Eva on 3AW’s Wide World of Sports.
