Deputy opposition leader weighs in on the concerning apprentice and trainee drop in Australia
Deputy leader of the opposition, Sussan Ley, has weighed in on the concerning apprentice and trainee drop in Australia on 3AW Mornings.
Australia has 27,000 fewer apprentices and trainees than a year ago, and Ley told Tony Jones “unless we get economic management right, unfortunately we are going to see numbers like this continue”.
“It’s harder than ever to be an apprentice or trainee right now, because of Labor’s cost of living crisis,” she said.
