It’s been 20 years since a catastrophic earthquake and Tsunami off the Indian Ocean coast struck large parts of south-east Asia on Boxing Day.

Former chief executive officer of Vision Australia Tim Costello says he travelled to Sri Lanka in the hours after the tsunami hit.

“What I saw was chaos … such was the destruction,” he told 3AW Mornings.
