New crime data has been released, revealing children between the ages of 10 and 17 are offending at their highest rate since 2009.

Deputy Commissioner of Regional Operations at Victoria Police Neil Paterson joined 3AW Drive to provide further details on the new crime data and how Victoria Police aim to tackle the worsening numbers.

“194 people are being arrested everyday by our front line police,”  Paterson told Heidi Murphy.
