Four Australians are among seven people hospitalised with “nausea, vomiting, and neurological symptoms” after drinking cocktails at a popular resort on Fiji’s Coral Coast.

Over 400,000 Australians travel to Fiji each year and this story is a reminder to Australians to be aware of where they purchase their drinks from.

“It is very terrifying for those individuals,” Dean Long, CEO of the Travel Institute of Victoria, said on 3AW Drive.
