Geelong Council has made their stance on Australia Day and on Tuesday evening the City of Greater Geelong voted to formally recognise January 26 as Australia Day.

3AW Mornings host Tom Elliott has praised the council’s decision and thinks the City of Melbourne should be following suit.

“This is a fabulous move,” Elliott said on 3AW Mornings.
