Police officers have been assaulted and a former senior sergeant and his 14-year-old son have been left shaken after a harrowing ordeal in Grovedale this morning.

Police have arrested a man and a woman following the theft of two motor vehicles after they caused havoc on the roads, with caller Nick telling the dramatic story on 3AW Drive.

“This bloke just had no fear,” Nick told Jacqui Felgate.
