Tobias Evertsen-Mostert says he’s shocked and lost for words after the woman who murdered his mother was granted permission to receive IVF treatment.

Alicia Schiller is currently serving a 16-year sentence after murdering Tyrelle Evertsen-Mostert, with the decision to allow her out of prison to receive the treatment widely condemned in recent days.

“I missed having a mum for all the big milestones in my life,” Mr Evertsen-Mostert told Jacqui Felgate.

“To not long ago be the 10th anniversary of her passing and then this stuff happens near Christmas … it’s destructive in a way.

“She’s in there serving time, why allow her (to do this).”
