Jacinta Allan has responded to a report she has a ‘strained’ relationship with state Treasurer Tim Pallas.

Speaking with Jacqui Felgate on Tuesday, Ms Allan said she had a “terrific” working relationship with Mr Pallas despite the state’s debt woes and spending decisions on recent major projects.

“Don’t always believe what you read,” she said on 3AW Drive.

“Tim (Pallas) and I have a really terrific relationship, we’ve worked together for 25 years in a whole range of different roles.”
