Macquarie Dictionary has announced its Word of the Year for 2024, with 3AW Breakfast host Ross Stevenson only mentioning the word once due to its explicit nature!

‘Cossie livs’, which is a play on the term ‘cost of living’, took out the title last year, and managing editor of Macquarie Dictionary Victoria Morgan explained to Ross and Russ what the winning word for this year means.

“We’re going to mention this word once Victoria, because we do have children in cars,” Stevenson said.
