Tom Elliott says the value of acknowledgment and welcome to countries are being cheapened and diluted because they’re performed so often.

Australian bureaucrat Clare Anderson performed an acknowledgement of country while attending a climate change conference in Baku.

The 3AW Mornings host says it’s extraordinary the ceremony was performed considering Ms Anderson was overseas and not actually in Australia.
