Leading Senior Constable Bill Edwards from Bendigo Highway Patrol has detailed the brutal bashing he copped from a disgruntled motorbike rider on Tuesday.

The police officer sustained a broken nose and two broken teeth during the violent encounter.

“A lot of people just don’t seem to have any respect for either law enforcement or anything really,” Constable Edwards told Jacqui Felgate on 3AW Drive.
