Bunnings releases shocking vision of workers being abused
Bunnings has released a video showing some of the abuse their staff have been forced to endure on the job.

It comes after the Privacy Commissioner ruled the mega homewares store used facial recognition technology to profile customers, breaching privacy laws.

“It is appalling this level of violence,” the 3AW Drive host said.
“If my kids were next to me when some of these attacks occurred, I would be hysterical, in fact, even if they weren’t I would be hysterical.”
Managing director at Bunnings, Michael Schneider, then said the company is “incredibly disappointed” with the findings from the Privacy Commissioner and explained why they implemented the facial recognition technology.
The Bunnings boss then stated the footage released by the company is “heartbreaking” and leaves the workers involved with “emotional scars”.
