A Pro-Palestine group that planned a protest outside Myer’s Christmas windows have opted to cancel their demonstration.

It comes after Sunday’s public unveiling of the windows was cancelled as a result of the protest.

Protest organiser Amy Settal told Tom Elliott she was happy Myer’s “consumerist party” had been shut down.

“We have chosen to cancel our planned disruption,” she confirmed to 3AW Mornings.

“We’re very pleased with the outcome that Myer has decided to cancel their consumerist party.”
