There have been numerous rumours and reports circulating around Oprah Winfrey being paid to endorse the Kamala Harris election campaign.

According to a report in the Washington Examiner, Winfrey’s company was paid $1 million by the Harris campaign on October 15.

Entertainment expert Pete Ford has shut down the rumours, saying the story has been “twisted”.

“A million bucks for Oprah Winfrey is ashtray money,” Ford said on 3AW Breakfast.
