Lidia Thorpe urges King to ‘give back’ what ancestors ‘stole’ from her people
Independant senator Lidia Thorpe isn’t backing down from the public stance she made in Canberra earlier in the week.
Ms Thorpe launched a verbal tirade in the direction of King Charles during a ceremony at Parliament House to mark his Australia tour, sparking global outrage.
Speaking on 3AW Mornings, she told Tom Elliott why she decided to make the stance, calling for the King to treat First Nations people better.
