‘Gaza Strip’ mysteriously pops up in northeast Melbourne
A mysteriously named street has popped up in Melbourne’s northeast, prompting Ross Stevenson to wonder the true meaning behind its origins.
3AW Breakfast obtained a map released as part of the upcoming council elections, which shows an area marked ‘Gaza Strip’ adjacent to the Gresswell Forest Nature Conservation Reserve in Macleod.
Ross then went onto Google Maps, where the curiously named street is also publicly visible.
