Sly has outlined what he believes really happened on the now infamous day in the Victorian high country back in 2020, which saw two campers lose their lives.

Greg Lynn was charged with the murder of camper Carol Clay, but acquitted of the murder of Russell Hill, with Mr Lynn set to appeal the 32-year murder sentence.

The former pilot continues to deny he murdered both Mr Hill and Ms Clay, insisting both deaths were accidental.

“History tells you people tell a version of events which is half true and half not,” he said on 3AW Breakfast.
