Wide World of Sports host Sam McClure has revealed the club leading the race to secure Clayton Oliver if Melbourne opts to trade their star midfielder.
Despite being contracted until 2030, McClure reports on 3AW that rival clubs believe he is gettable again, with the gun on-baller reportedly feeling unloved at the Demons.

“Clayton Oliver has felt during the year – and increasingly so in the last few weeks – that he is undervalued and unwanted at Melbourne next year and beyond,” he said on 3AW.
“It’s had him questioning whether he will be back at the club for pre-season at the end of next year.”
Melbourne later released a statement to Wide World of Sports, saying Oliver remained a “required member” of the club moving into next season.
