With local government elections fast approaching, Tom Elliott has been sent an email by a local councillor about a campaign called ‘We vote for Palestine’.

Currently 140 local councillors across Victoria haven taken to this pledge, which has led the 3AW Mornings host to call them “ridiculous”.

“It is not the issue of local government to be focusing on wars on the other side of the earth,” he said.
