With this year’s silly season not far away, Cleary told 3AW Football the future of Essendon forward Jake Stringer was one of the key stories to watch.

“He has one year left at the Bombers – does he take that or explore the market for a two year option elsewhere,” he said on 3AW.

“He’s confident he can find two years elsewhere.”
