Leigh Matthews has highlighted the importance of Sam Frost to Hawthorn’s side, after the defender was ruled out for the rest of the finals series with a bone stress injury in his foot.

The AFL great spoke about the narrative surrounding Frost for most of his career, stating he’s been the “ultimate football journeyman”.

“They’re going to miss him,” Matthews said.
