GWS Giants Head of Football Jason McCartney has been handed a $20,000 fine for making contact with Sydney Swans forward Tom Papley during the quarter time break in the qualifying final on Saturday.

Giants head coach Adam Kingsley joined 3AW’s Wide World of Sports on Tuesday night, and gave his quick thoughts on the fine which has handed down this afternoon.

“It’s unfortunate, but it is what it is,” Kingsley said.
