Hawthorn midfielder Jai Newcombe played a starring role in the side’s 37-point victory over the Western Bulldogs on Friday night, and joined 3AW straight after the game to talk all about it.

Newcombe finished with 35 touches, and said he couldn’t wipe the smile off his face, while speaking about the teammate who has been so reliable for the team in 2024.

“He’s been massive for us,” Newcombe said.
