Tom Elliott urges Australia to follow Ireland’s lead to fix economy
Tom Elliott says it’s time for Australia to look to one European country to help fix the nation’s economy.
His comments come after Australia’s economy grew by just 0.2 per cent in the June quarter, marking the slowest rate of growth since the early 90s.

“Ireland could not be more different than Australia – it is going gangbusters,” he said on 3AW Mornings.
“Ireland has showed that if you have a well-eduacted English-speaking country with low rates of taxation, you actually make your economy boom.”
