The right to disconnect laws came into effect in Australia nine days ago, but there’s a new push by the union movement which Tom Elliott thinks is “utterly ludicrous”.

The 3AW Mornings host reacted to the introduction of the new laws a couple of weeks ago, but the demand by unions in relation to employees’ use of social media related to their workplace has caught his attention.

“I think that is ridiculous,” he said.
