3AW Breakfast sports reporter and Herald Sun journalist Jon Anderson has named his best side of 22 footy players in the last 50 years who never won a Brownlow Medal.

It comes after he read about Western Bulldogs midfielder Adam Treloar stating it would be a “travesty” if teammate Marcus Bontempelli never wins a Brownlow.

“Most of these people have gone very close to winning a Brownlow Medal,” he said.
