Former AFL footballer and lord mayoral candidate Anthony Koutoufides has outlined his vision for Melbourne, after officially throwing his hat in the ring for the top job on the weekend.

Koutoufides told Tom Elliott on 3AW Mornings he wants to bring Melbourne back to being the best city in the world.

“The city is in desperate need of help,” the Carlton great said.
