Leigh Matthews has voiced his concerns on the form of Sydney Swans ruckman Brodie Grundy in recent weeks, as the finals series fast approaches.

Matthews thought he looked like an “ordinary player” against Essendon on Friday night, and not the star recruit he was earlier in the season.

“His influence has just completely diminished this last four to six weeks,” he said.
