Grassroots football set to be impacted if AFL lose $120 million gambling ad revenue
Last night on Channel 9 News, Chief Football Reporter Tom Morris reported that the AFL would be set to lose over $120 million in revenue if gambling advertisements are banned.
If the ban was to go ahead, $12 million would be taken from community footy annually and Mark Allen posed a question to 3AW Drive listeners.
“If you want the gambling ads cut in half, are you willing to pay more at grassroots?” Allen said on 3AW Drive.
