‘Doesn’t get much better’: Australian skateboarder Keegan Palmer wins back-to-back gold medals in men’s park
Australian skateboarder Keegan Palmer has made it back-to-back gold medals in the men’s park skateboarding final, adding to his Tokyo 2020 gold medal.
Palmer had a run of 93.11 which secured him his second career gold medal, took a bow to the crowd and did a victory lap to celebrate.
It was a fantastic moment, when his fellow competitors Tate Carew and Pedro Barros lifted the Australian onto their shoulders after his victory. He joined 3AW Breakfast following his gold-medal victory.
“Just wanna go home, see the family as I haven’t been able to soak it in,” Palmer said on 3AW Breakfast.
