Research finds not too much sugar is good sugar
New research from the University of Canberra suggests fructose isn’t such a bad sugar after all.
Processed by the liver, researchers found it goes a long way to lowering blood sugar and insulin levels.
Even though that is the case, lead author Dr. Kerry Mills says no sugar is good to have in “excess.”
“If you are going to be consuming calories, you should be consuming it in the form of whole foods like fruit and vegetables,” Dr. Mills said.
“There’s no need to eat sugar except if you are lacking calories.”
