Officeworks pro-Palestine manager refuses to perform laminating service for Jewish customer
On March the 4th 2024, a Jewish man wearing a yarmulke, visited the Officeworks in Elsternwick to laminate an article.
When he was called to the counter by an Officeworks employee who identified herself as being a manager, he presented a copy of the Australian Jewish News Newspaper, and then turned to the relevant page that he sought to have laminated.
When the manager saw the Jewish Article, she asserted that she was “pro-Palestine” and refused to perform the Laminating Service.
She told the Jewish man that Officeworks has a right to deny jobs.
