Economist says we are going through a ‘volatile time’ with Australians facing cost of living struggles
There are many people who are struggling with the cost of living, not only the people from low socioeconomic backgrounds but many middle class Australians with two steady incomes too.
Foodbank has seen 65,000 people needing food and necessities because they can’t afford it and it’s the people you wouldn’t expect struggling to make ends meet.
Economist and lecturer at Monash University Dr Zac Gross joined 3AW Drive to discuss the rise in the cost of living.
“It has been a pretty volatile time in the economy,” Zac Gross said on 3AW Drive.
