Sly of the Underworld has announced his seven-point plan to help tackle the youth crime crisis in Victoria.
It comes as the state government kick-off a two-day summit on youth crime today.
“It’s absolutely simple,” Sly said.

The veteran crime writer told Ross and Russ the police tried to brief the Department of Justice on the youth crime crisis, but they complained that it was too graphic and potentially racist.
“Those officials should be moved from the Department of Justice to the department of nappies,” he said.
He also said the bail system is “empowering” youth offenders.
“It’s actually creating more crime.”
