Matthew Lloyd couldn’t be more impressed by the high-flying Blues, saying captain Patrick Cripps is in career-best form.

Lloyd said Michael Voss’ side was playing with the type of confidence no Blues side has had since the 1995 season.

“I think he’s playing as well as he’s ever played,” he said on 3AW.

“And I think Carlton has the most belief about themselves they’ve had since probably the 1995 season.”
