Melbourne University pro-Palestine protesters ‘devastated’ as expulsion looms
Pro-Palestine protestors who shut down Melbourne University are facing expulsion after being made aware on Thursday of upcoming misconduct hearings.
A building at the university’s Parkville campus was taken over by protestors last month, while similar protests also took place at other universities.
The Age education reporter Alex Crowe said the students in question are shattered by the outcome.

“They are feeling pretty devastated,” she told Shane McInnes on 3AW Afternoons.
“It probably hasn’t come as too big of a surprise and they may have seen this coming, but it hasn’t stopped it being a huge blow.”
