State member for Mornington Chris Crewther isn’t happy with a decision to not convict a teenager who pushed an elderly person off Mornington Pier earlier this year.

The 14-year-old was handed a diversion order, with all charges to be removed from his record if he successfully completes it.

“There seems to be little consequences for youth omitting offences,” Mr Crewther told 3AW Drive.
