Federal Labor MP Josh Burns says he’s going through a “pretty confronting period” after his office was vandalised by pro-Palestine activists.

Mr Burns’ office was attacked in the early hours of Wednesday morning, with windows damaged and slogans painted onto the exterior.

“It’s been a pretty confronting period,” Mr Burns – who is Jewish – told Jacqui Felgate on 3AW Drive.

“This is a bit of a wake up call that we need to remind ourselves that in Australia, we have robust political debate. But we certainly don’t resort to violence.”
