Eddie McGuire has revealed International Rules is on the cusp of being revived.

The hybrid AFL-Gaelic format hasn’t been played since 2017, but McGuire said that it could be on the cusp of making a comeback.

“Discussions are in place (to revive International Rules),” he said on the ‘Eddie and Jimmy’ podcast.

“And they have a sponsor.”
