Owner of local Brighton grocer disgusted as staff attacked in brazen robbery
The owner of a Brighton grocer says some of his staff were punched in the face by armed youths in a terrifying robbery over the weekend.
Police confirmed late on Monday they had charged a 14-year-old Seymour boy in relation to robberies at the Dockendorff Grocer in Brighton and IGA in Cheltenham in broad daylight on Saturday.
Master Grocers Australia president Lincolm Wymer – who runs the local grocery – said he was disgusted by what has transpired in recent days.

“The (robbers) just walked straight up to our staff members and punched them in the face,” Mr Wyner told 3AW Drive.
“The staff didn’t even approach them.”
