Hawthorn swingman Blake Hardwick signed a five-year contract extension with the Hawks, keeping him at the club until the end of 2029.

Hardwick has had a phenomenal year for the young and upcoming Hawks, highlighted by a five goal performance against Port Adelaide earlier in the year.

“Sam (Mitchell) saw an opportunity for me to play forward, I enjoy it and its refreshing to play in different parts of the ground,” Hardwick said on Wide World of Sports.
