Christian Petracca remains in intensive care following gruesome injury
Melbourne midfielder Christian Petracca remains in intensive care as a result of the injury he sustained against Collingwood on King’s Birthday, according to Sam McClure.
Petracca suffered broken ribs, lacerated spleen, punctured lung after colliding with Pies captain Darcy Moore during the match.
“He’s in a bad way,” McClure said on Wide World of Sports.

“From all reports today he’s in high spirits which is great, but he’s going to face a really difficult recovery.”
