Richmond legend’s tribute to Dustin Martin as he prepares to play 300th game
Matthew Richardson has paid tribute to three-time Norm Smith Medallist Dustin Martin, who on Saturday will play his 300th game for Richmond against Hawthorn.
Martin, who will go down as one of the club’s greatest ever players, has been universally celebrated this week ahead of an expected 80,000-strong crowd who will gather at the MCG for the game.
“I call (Dustin Martin) the moments man,” Richo said on Wide World of Sports.

“He may not had 40 touches in a game, but what he does is sense the moment and that’s what the absolute top players do.”
Richmond coach Adem Yze also lauded Martin, while revealing Tom Lynch will make his return to the senior side providing he completes main training on Thursday.
