3AW sports reporter Jon Anderson says Melbourne were “insipid” in their shock 92-point loss to Fremantle in Alice Springs in Sunday.

A six goal to one second quarter blew the game open in what was the Demons’ heaviest defeat under coach Simon Goodwin.

“That was insipid yesterday,” Ando said on 3AW Breakfast.

“Harrison Petty is a good footballer as a defender…but as a forward is not his go. (The performance) was just horrible to watch.”
