Eric Idle concedes he barely keeps in touch with fellow former members of comedy group Monty Python.

Idle, who is touring Australia later this year, told 3AW Breakfast he hasn’t seen John Cleese in person for nearly a decade.

“I haven’t seen (John Cleese) in eight years,” he said on 3AW.

“But I live in LA and they either live in England or on the round, so I don’t see them a lot.”
