It has emerged AFL umpires are receiving feedback from officials during matches, with several senior coaches reportedly raising their concern about potential interference in decision making.

The story, which was broken by Sam McClure in The Age, surprised Matthew Richardson when he was asked about it on Wide World of Sports on Wednesday night.

“I didn’t know that,” Richardson said on 3AW.
