Suspicious fire breaks out at Middle Eastern restaurant in Melbourne’s north overnight
A Middle Eastern restaurant in Melbourne’s north has been torched in an early morning arson attack.

Police and firefighters were called to a restaurant on the Hume Highway in Campbellfield at around 4:30am this morning.
The fire at the pizza and pasta shop is now under control.
An arson chemist will attend the scene later this morning, with fire being deemed suspicious.
This morning’s blaze follows arson attacks at two Italian restaurants earlier this month at La Porchetta in Taylors Lakes, and Negroni 888 in Essendon.
