Oprah Winfrey’s apology late last week for her role in diet culture caught the eye of entertainment reporter Pete Ford.

The long-time TV host and entrepreneur admitted she had played a large role in promoting weigh loss on her various platforms.

“It’s very peculiar,” Pete Ford said about Oprah’s apology on 3AW Breakfast.

“But always with Oprah, there’s a reason behind it and it usually begins and ends with dollar signs.”
